My Thanksgiving Menu

I just did my Thanksgiving shopping the other day at Trader Joes. I love Trader Joes. I just had to say that. Anyway, I thought I'd share my Thanksgiving menu with you all. It's only going to be 4 of us this year, plus my two boys, so I don't need to cook a ton. I still kind of am though...

Ok, here's my menu...

Turkey, of course. My father-in-law wants to deep fry it so that's what we're doing. I've never had a turkey deep fried before.

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

Cornbread Stuffing (from Trader Joes) with sauteed apples and onions added

Sauteed Corn with a little cream and butter

Sweet Potato Casserole (this is a family recipe I'll have to share with you - super easy)

Crescent Rolls (from Trader Joes)

Cranberry Sauce (from Trader Joes)

Pumpkin Cheesecake (from Trader Joes)

German Chocolate Pecan Pie with Vanilla Ice Cream

So, as you can see, I am taking some short cuts with some prepared stuff from Trader Joes. And it still pretty much looks like a ton of food. Oh well. Hello leftovers!!! I'll post some pics tomorrow.

So what are you cooking? Do you take short cuts too? Are you cooking at all or is someone else doing the cooking?

That's a ton of food. Share with us!!! :) We're cooking! But, you know that. And yeah, we're taking short cuts! We planned on it though cause we didn't know if our things would be here in order to make everything. So we had to choose easy things!
